HANDSPRING BRINGS TREO TO AT&T WIRELESS CUSTOMERS NATIONWIDE
Award-winning Treo smartphone available for as little as $249 with AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS service plan activation

(NASDAQ: HAND) announced the availability of Treo 270 on the AT&T Wireless nationwide GSM/GPRS network, bringing greater carrier choice to Treo customers and a leading converged smartphone product for AT&T Wireless customers. New and current AT&T Wireless customers can purchase Treo 270 for a starting price of $399, or for as little as $249 when adding an optional AT&T Wireless Mobile Internet (GPRS data) plan to a voice plan. With Treo and the optional Wireless Mobile Internet plan, customers can browse the Web or with third party software, access existing personal or corporate email accounts quickly and easily on AT&T Wireless' network in thousands of cities across the U.S. and around the world. The Handspring Treo 270 features a built-in thumb keyboard that makes sending email, text messages, and dialing the phone fast and easy. Treo 270 also features a dual-band GSM radio so customers can use it worldwide. Combined with AT&T Wireless' next generation GSM/GPRS network, Treo enhances data applications such as web browsing through Handspring's Blazer browser.
